Things That Are Real of the Day: Looking for a way to keep your dog entertained in your absence? Introducing DOGTV — cable’s first 24/7 TV channel for canines.

According to its founders, DOGTV is “designed as the perfect babysitter for dogs who have to stay home alone.” It features three types of programming aimed at relaxing or stimulating dogs, which in turn “helps prevent mental fatigue, depression and boredom.”

As bright of an idea as DOGTV might be, I can help but wonder how much closer this brings us to scolding Spot for ordering Bitches Gone Wild on puppy pay-per-view again.

It is actually real! I showed Watson some of the samples on their site and he was entranced and intrigued
